So every so often I get a day like today. I get to shoot pictures at my job. Our commercial website is under construction and Kathini has been kind enough to ask me to lend my camera skills to help her in her design of the site. Basically she needs it, I shoot it. I get to get out from behind my desk and still get paid and Kathini is happy that I am happy to do it. Win, Win.
Today I got to climb up on top of the roof of our building to take pictures of our commercial techs in action. Did I mention that I am terrified of ladders? Did I mention that the ladder was still covered in morning dew and slippery when I climbed up? Once I was up I was fine. But coming back down...that was the worst part. Luckily the ladder was dry but my palms were sweaty so it kinda cancelled that out. The good news...I survived and managed some great shots in the process.
Three lucky men have been chosen to be the faces of Shumate. Pictured above is Anthony Barbour. He may be a technician but I have to say he is one of the most photogenic men I have ever shot. period. ever. What a smile. I could shoot him all day long. Lucky for me Anthony likes to be shot. He used to be an NFL football player and still plays semi-pro football. He asked me to come shoot the team for their sports cards and such. I am stoked!
